Default Landing gear
Here's to hoping that we'll be able to retract the landing gear this time around. It made flying around in jets seem silly with the wheels dangling. Agree?

I wasn't the original person who first asked about it but last week someone had the same question to which someone else said the Devs have confirmed the ability to retract the landing gear (I think it was in a podcast), so all is good!

BTW, the gear retracts automatically, whatever that means.

Retract is technically 'draw back and in' so luckily the landing gear retracts instead of pointlessly hanging out during flight.

Yeah, once you get a certain height above the ground, or maybe a certain speed, it retracts. Then once you are coming in for landing , it comes back out

Does anyone know whether it's automatic or manual for a fact? I personally think it should be manual because I'm sure the Devs wont put a certain height barrier covering the whole of Panau that initiates the landing gear as that would look stupid if your flying low and your wheels keep popping in and out. So It will most probably be manual and at the click of an analogue stick.

I don't mind either way just wonder how they'l put a sensor over the whole map which will initiate it to come down or retract.

This is really a miniscule mundane detail that does not matter! I'm not gonna care if my tires are up or down when I crash my aircraft into someones ass, while hauling a jeep behind!

If you and I weren't friends, I'd take that rather aggressively but knowing you have a pterodactyl on your hands I can understand that having the wheels up or down, the person will suffer just as bad!
