Absolutely. As a long time PC gamer (I'm over a half-century old) I was astonished and very upset when I loaded and began to play the parody of a Thief game known as Deadly Shadows. What a joke. It spat all over the past two games, and thumbed its nose at the fans. I sure hope that they find a way to restore the elements that made the series the stupendous game that it was.

what was that fps game where you could shoot an AI and wing it, the AI would then play possum and if you got close to it and weren't pointing a weapon at it it would leap up and kill you, if you shot it again though it would jump to it's knees and beg for it's life, which I felt was a little sick as you didn't really have much choice but to kill it as if you spared it it would try to kill you as soon as you turned your back

we definitely don't want any of that in T4

While I appreciate the effort put into deliberately misspelling words in order to somewhat farcically parody the OP, kindly desist and refrain from doing so again, ever. It makes my eyes itch.

[According Al Capp, anyway. For anyone who's postdeluvian: Capp had a comic strip called "L'il Abner". In the 40's and 50's, it was one of the three top strips, and a major factor in US understanding of life. It went bad in the 60's-- along with the other two strips, curiously. Anyway, Capp had a minor character that was sort of an Oscar the Grouch with a serious toothache. His name was 'Joe Btlfspk'. Everybody wondered how to pronounce it. When interviewed, Capp replied with a Bronx cheer. After that, 'btlfspk' hit print elsewhere as such. Maybe 'bs' is, after all, a contraction.]

I'm quite fond of Berke Breathed's renderings of the sound in Bloom County.

Slight digression. I just picked up the Berke Breathed Bloom County Library Vol # I.

I have nearly all the collections. Loved the strip, and was pleasantly suprised to see the drawings in "Secondhand Lions", a very entertaining movie by the way, at the end.

I doubt Berke will return, but his efforts are most appreciated. PS: He got a Pulitzer for the strip in early days.

Yeah. I was glad to have been turned on to the strip in about 1984, when there were some years left of it. I was able to snag a couple of collections.

Ack!!

So, we find this hole in a rock, and there are all these trees movin' around. And I says,

--You know Rita Hayworth, how
--I know her. She don't know me.
--That's tough, Joe.
--You seen that blood?
--Not lately. You wantta go out and look?
--Nope.
--Thaanks forthe memoriees.
--Shaddup, Willie.
--What would Mauldin do?
--He wouldn't leave us hang out here to dry.
--That's funny, Joe.
--Yeh.

Garrett shud be able to comply with the watch!

they should B liek "Stop, you have violated the law! You must pay the court fine or serve your sentence. Your stolen goods are now forfeit." and then you have the choice of resist or submit... choice is so essential in games these days!!

hehe
+1 for theBlackman

It's obvious actually why some people want thief 4 to be a good follow up from TDS when they've only played TDS.
However if they could just go and play TDP or TMA, they know what where talking about.
