Need help: Advice for how to defeat Poison Ivy

I'm at the Poison Ivy fight. This is taking me forever to do. I've caught on what to do but I keep getting killed. Can anyone help me at all?

What you want to do is start out by whipping out as many Batarangs @ Ivy, and as soon as she slams the ground with her vines, dodge them so that they don't drain your health.

Repeat the process, and dodge all her spore attacks. Once she's down, you blow her up with the Explosive Gel, and she'll call up some guards to fight you and @the same time, she unleashes more vines that can entangle you. Dodge them, while knocking off the guardsmen and follow up with more Batarangs until all of her health depletes.
