Default Batmobile in sequel?

Will the batmobile be in the sequel? If so will we be able to fly the batjet or steer the batsub? If they are going to include driving vehicles it would be tricky and awesome. What do you think, should they include vehicles?

You got me all excited because you used an "!" instead of an "?". Shame on you.

If they can make it work, then yeah, I'd love to see it happen. Could be a slight throwback to the chase scene done between Batman and Two-Face during Adventures of Batman and Robin for SNES

I d/k. Maybe. I don't know how it would work out since it was still in the water at the end, unless it's waterproof.

He has more than one Batcave, so more than one Batmobile, yes.

I actually hope not, I mean, unless it's for a scripted sequence, I could plough a guy into a wall, that's not Batman..

No Driver 1/2 please. Instead civilians could be away. I don't think there are many civilians walking around streets during that riot.

Criminals, well, they are so tough they won't die.

Or why should it matter if we do wrong? It could be kind of good/bad stuff like in some other games. True Batmans don't kill, well excluding "accidents" like in TDK, but if we don't even get a chance to kill we won't feel like we choose not to kill.

Really? Batman has more than one Batmobile @a time? Doesn't seem that way. I mean sure, he could just easily make another one.

There is an even better picture of all the Batmobiles in Hush but couldn't find the pic online. You could always look at your copy if you have it, which you should.

Wow, that's crazy. I don't usually read the comics. I'm rewatching all the episodes of the Batman, and it never really showed Bruce having more than 1 of the same vehicle. And the Batcave didn't seem big @all.

He got a new Batmobile after Gearhead was introduced.

In the cartoons theres one batsuit, one batmobile, one batboat, etc. The reason he has so many in the comics is because every artist puts their own spin on it and over time that creates a lot of incarnations of his car. So what the guys at DC have said is "Alright, he has all these cars stored in the Batcave". So while originally Batman may have only had one Batmobile and a couple spares, he now has a fleet of them.

Its the same thing with his suit. Every artist draws his suit a little differently, so they've said now that he has all of them locked up in the batcave to choose at his whim.

That is pretty neat. As much as a bat-fan I am I never read the comics, I've read Arkham Asylum : A serious house on serious earth, the killing joke, and the long halloween, but I grew up with watching Adam West's take (my grandfather taped it on FX, and then sent it to me.), The Animated Series, and the movies.

You guys really need to read your books!!! You can't imagine the magnitude of sheer awesomeness you are missing out on. The movies and tv shows are great and all but they don't hold a candle to the comics.

I've read a few. I get lost in comics real easily though. The only issues I really liked are the Batman Strikes series, with the Batman series aired on Kids WB.

It's not just because other artists draw the batmobile. Batman has other batmobiles because he's not an idiot and has money to spare. He's not an idiot = he doesn't bank on his car never needing a replacement, even though he goes out at night every night fighting all manner of crime, including super villains with their super amount of dangerous artillery, thugs, vehicles, etc. You think the World's Greatest Detective, not to mention one of the smartest people alive, wouldn't think the batmobile might be demolished, lose a tire, or even just break down once and a while and he might need another handy??

And he's got money to spare = why not make spares of everything to avoid the above?

And, if that's not enough, each batcave has to have its own assortment of bat-vehicles. The batwing he calls in the game comes from the batcave under Arkham, not the actual batcave. That would be too far away.

Edit: Oh, and the cartoon showed that Batman had more than one suit. He had many, many suits. Robin had more than one as well.

Alot of the pages where you see batmobiles usually add cars from the tv show, movies and cartoons to the mix. Anyhow i'm not a big vehicle fan, but hey if they do something fun with it it'll be enjoyable, am i right or what! Design wise i love D'anda's design used in BAA. It's a perfect mix of the movies and BTAS design. Nightwing (if added) could ride this cool batpod.

It's common sense to have spares, but what I meant by the artist interpretations is that instead of having a bunch of duplicates of the same vehicle he simply has a crapload of variations. Same with the suits. Aside from auxilary suits (fireproof, underwater, etc), Batman in the cartoons generally has one suit. He had four in the DCAU, but that was a different one in each show.
