I thought I read somewhere that new dlc was to come out in Oct. Its Nov. now and I still dont see any new dlc...
did I miss something or did they realize that charging people for a couple lame challenge maps is not the way to go?

The DLC was free for a start, so no one was charged at all - and secondly it has already been previously stated that there is no current plans for any more DLC.

Can we possibly get a sticky thread that says something about this?

It would be nice if we could get DLC featuring Calendar Man on Christmas Day. That would be great.

They made plenty of DLC imo, they just need to release all the "exclusive" stuff for all platforms. Although there's no real chance of that happening during the games "active" shelf life. Which is usually, what, 5-6 months or so?
I still think if they make a sequel, it would be a good marketing move to release all existing dlc to everyone during sequel development to help re-ignite interest (or simply boost customer relation by being that cool). By then, people wouldn't care that their "exclusive dlc" would no longer be exclusive. They would be too busy enjoying everyone else's exclusive dlc's and waiting for the next game. Not to mention it would leave Batman:AA with a legacy as one of those games with a good, solid, fully realised amount of DLC. Think of how much stuff would be in the "downloadable content" menu if we could could download every DLC they've already made for the game. Last edited by homeycdawg; 11-11-2009 at 12:48 AM. |

No more DLC?
Lame. Why not simply offer up the other maps as DLC? I'd be willing to pay $4.99 per map. And even though I own a PS3, I say allow the Joker levels to be played for the 360 and PC. This lack of new DLC is just strange. If nothing else is coming, then I guess I can just trade in my B:AA game now. The replay value of it has gone to crap if there's nothing new coming out for it. |

This game has a place on my shelf still because it was a GOOD game; a good game that I want to keep and play again when I get bored another time; because it's GOOD. The fact there's no more DLC doesn't subtract from the quality. Just remember, they didn't have to do any DLC. I'm getting a bit angry with all the comments like this to be honest...

But honestly, would you rather have them make more DLC for this game? or work on whatever brilliant title will be released from them next? Its like asking if you want a piece of last nights pizza from the fridge, or asking if you want me to get a nice fresh one from the pizza place down the road. Y'know?

Batman: Arkham Asylum. Greatest. Batman. Game. Ever.
More DLC, or no more DLC, this game kicks it, and kicks it hard. G'night. I gotta go don the proverbial Bat-suit and get to work...

I still haven't finshed all the riddler challanges and beaten the game on hard and all of the challange maps yet. I'm just waiting for that rainy day where there is nothing to do : D

The game is great. No matter how long it takes you to finish it, you'll like it. All the DLC was was challenge maps. It didn't add or take away anything from the story; they were just another coat of paint on a room where you do the same fighting moves you can do in any of the rooms that came with the game they paid $60 for. Just because you feel like you're entitled to something for free doesn't mean anyone is obligated to give it to you.
