Batman Gilde Problem

I'm having problem with batman, he can't do any kind of glide....

He can't do "Glide Kick". That's just one button right (right click)? but i couldn't make him do it. I tried several times, with different distances from batman and the target but all that he does is to drop below the gargoyle, thus, landing infront of his target that he is supposed to knock down with the "Glide kick" that never came.
I am stucked in my mission in saving "Dr. Kellerman", one of the three doctors in the medical facility. In the room filled with gas where I am supposed to switch two fans Batman can't reach the other platform which he can only reach by a Glide after a jump. I tried any possible way to jump, or jump and gilde but I failed. I'm stucked there.
Need help.

I hear it usually happens when you pirate the game. Search the forum, you'll see.

isn't glide click the left mouse button?

to glide jump run towards the edge and hold space.

homeycdawg is right. Can you verify (though it's a pain to ask) that you have a legitimate purchased copy of the game? There have been quite a number of tricks put in this game which will cause it to work improperly if it isn't a legit version. Not being able to glide is one of these signs. Did you try *holding* the button to glide? I know some people had that problem in the past; thinking that just pushing the button would work. He will stop gliding if you let go of the button. Just pressing the button will make him jump down when you're on a gargoyle. That could be what you're experiencing.

By the way, we're not accusing you of being a pirate, but it's very difficult to assist in how to solve a problem on the official forums if you had an illegitimate copy of the game.

Shouldn't we create a sticky thread with "gliding problem, please read this", explaining that gliding does not work in pirated copies of the game? Looks like many pirates players encountered this issue. Any moderator out there?

Btw it is the most clever anti-piracy protection I've ever seen. Quite simple, but someone still had to think of it

Good idea, but you'd have to make it clear about the kind of gliding problem. When I tried playing the game with a joypad, I thought I may have triggered a glide problem because when I tried to glide kick someone I would end up just landing next to them, when in fact I was just pressing the wrong button.

After some research I found that the actual pirate protection glide 'bug' would make it look like Batman was spazing out and would end up slowly floating down instead of forward.

You would most likely notice this either when taking Zsasz down for the first time or in the gas section just after.

We don't need a sticky for this. There is plenty of common sense logic out there that should say "If you didn't buy the game it might not work right", or Hold the button down like you're instructed to in the game. If you have a legitimate concern, PMing a moderator is always an option.
