"My vision has been customised." Or tailored. Augmented seems more like a word for an implant.
Hmm... When the prices drop and it becomes available here, I think I'm going to correct my vision (short-sighted) and get a night vision for late night airsoft games. Last edited by Hertzila; 10-04-2009 at 08:02 AM. |

Augmented reality is steadily in the works. In this regard, cyberpunk (like DX) might strike very near what we'll be seeing.
I interviewed several researchers in this field. Computers will be moving into the human body -- first by monocole, then by eye-lens. It would seem that the little bubble which appears in games to identify a person will be coming to an eye near you. And if they aren't registered to the global database or to your personal friends list? *Walks into bar. Sees shifty-looking fellow sitting by himself. Approaches, while the eye-lens' AI offers a likely suggestion: USED CAR SALESMAN?* |
