Default How to get rid of ugly Physx logo???

Hello,

I just installed the game, patched it to 1.1. Then I activated physx (I have a 8800 GTS 512). It works, except that it shows in game, in the top left hand corner : Physx>GPU in big grey and green letters. Why in hell does this message appear? Is this supposed to be a way to improve immersion??? By reminding me all the time I'm playing that my GPU is handling the physx??
I thought, maybe it's a warning of some sort because i don't have an additional GPU.
But no : if I disable Physx hardware acceleration : it shows : Physx>CPU!!!!! And of course there is no Physx anymore.
This is utterly ugly and pointless, i don't need this message to appear wether or not physx is enabled!!
How do I remove it? Thanks in advance.

Never seen that, sounds like a console command, like showing FPS.

Dunno, never heard of it happening before.

(aside from the console thing I said above, it could be a keyboard shortcut doing the same thing, like in some programs ctrl+alt+f will show framerate)

Sounds more like a bug than a feature...
Can you provide screenshots?

Found the reason in nvidia control panel. I have no idea why this thing was enabled, I guessed i never noticed it before because it's my first physx game.

I have this issue, and I cannot find anything in the NVidia Control panel that has anything to do with it. I am running a 9800 GT 512 mb. From the intro videos to the gameplay, the disgusting logo is there.

It really does add to the immersion.

In the control panel, there is a "3D Settings" drop-down menu next to File, Edit, View etc. There you can disable physx visual indicator.

Thank you! It works fine now. I do get an occasional CTD with "general protection fault", but that's another story.

They should put the indicator setting under the Physx properties tab!

That's something else entirely. Even so, it's good advice.
