Botanical Gardens error

I can get into the botanical gardens, but about halfway around the fountain I get the following error message and then the game stops;

couldn't find the file for package Garden_A_PhysX requested by async loading code
QA_APPROVED_BUILD_OCTOBER_2008 177051 19-8-2009 13:45.35 FMOD:42200/42200 GAME
Raise Exception() Address = 0x7c812afb(filename not found)
CXX ThrowException() Address = 0x78158e89(filename not found)

This happened three times before I gave up and had to write this thread. I've uninstalled/installed the game, with the appropriate patches, and still the same problem. I have an nvidia gtx 260 with the latest drivers. I've had problems with this game from day one, that it gets to a point, and then dies, and have to uninstall/install, and this will fix the problem for a while until another problem/error pops up. If someone can help me, that would be great because I really like this game.
