OK, this may be a dumb one or two, but I have to find out. In Survival Tactics (basic), you have to drop down on top of a guy and use the ground takedown. The question is, do you have to be on top of the office or can you do it anywhere? I tried using the gargoyles to drop down on him and it didn't work. The instructions book says the circle button is drop down. It didn't work.

I guess I missed something?

I think you're referring to the smash takedown? Which has to be done through glass, which only exists on the the building in the room.. Just like using the breakable walls with Explosive Gel in other levels, some things can only be accomplished at specific places. The one where you have to land on the guy's head on the other hand, you have to time and aim your jump to land on his head and knock him down. Be careful as it's possible to think you landed on him when you just kicked him down. You'll know you did it right if you get a medal when you land on him.

I had a problem with this as well. From the start position, head to the gargoyle in the back left corner of the room. When the patrolling guard gets close tap "X" ("A" on 360) to drop off and land on him, then use a ground takedown. It only seems to work if you go for this one first, for some reason. Hope this helps...
