Exclamation Help needed by Meta and Strpix Experts

G'day Mates,

I seem to be Having Trouble making solid wheels For a Static object I am trying to make, without haveing to convert them to Cylinders.

Every thing appears great in Meta But soon as I import the DXF to Strpix it goes all funny like so

But if I Import the wheel shapes as Cylinder it apears ok

Only thing is they have no Inner panel on which to texture, It can be done by creating several irregular Faces, but these arent very good as I wont be able to Align the textures properly.

Any Suggestions Or do I just have to live with the Cylinders?

The Body looks great and am going to start working on textures for it tonight. But unfortunatly, I may have to create it as several different Furniture Pieces, due to the ammount of Vertices it may have when Completed.

Cheers in Advance
Shroom

P.S. Oh yeah here is a little bit of what i'm trying to create

Its an SS-21 Launcher Or more commonly known as a SCUD-B Minus the Missile. Still working on that

you can make 8 squares with round pink transparent texture _inside_ those wheels, I think inner bevelled wheels in the center looks more realistic... hope you get what i mean...

Fungo, check your saving options in Meta : Both "Invert faces" and "Triangles have 4 points" must be checked.

i had this problem before... i was saving it wrong...This is how to do it

To open DXF files use the settings below:
- In "MULTIPLY" put "1"
- In "x digit" put "2"
- Click the "Swap YZ" button,
- Check the "Invert Face" option
To Save DXF files use the settings below:
- In "Multiply" put "1"
- In "x digit" put "-2"
- Click in “Swap YZ” button.
- Check “Triangle have four points” option.
- UNCHECK the "invert Face" option, (it was already inverted when was opened)

The swap XZ button isn't needed. It only mirrors the object.
