Default Batman/DC Fanfiction

Um, here's hoping I'm not too off-topic.

My friend and I are working on a Batman Fanfiction, and we're pretty much making it our own little world. We're doing it a bit like a roleplay, except we're giving each other control of the characters if we need to control them.

We'd like some help, if someone knows the character of the Joker better than we do, we'd appreciate the help. We really just started, and we just ended Chapter one this morning. Bruce has only been Batman for about six weeks... yeah, and he's just now meeting Selina.

That's where we left off.

I know there are fans for those heroes besides Batman, so if you'd like to help us out with another hero, please post here. We're open to ideas, and even spin-offs. But if no one is interested, then we'll do it by ourselves. xP

If this is completely off-topic, feel free to delete this thread.

Well how about starting to talk about your Joker? If you go by Batman #1 and the way Frank Miller handled the early Joker. The guy wasn't doing any jokes but was a pure homocidal murderer who left joker cards to his victims. Also if you wanna give a tribute to the ending of Batman #1 (which The Dark Knight movie did too) when Joker falls from a fall building, Batman saves him and says: "youre too valuebly to lose" Also Joker in Batman #1 disguised himself as a cop. =p

I haven't put much thought into our Joker so far, seeing as we have several villains to cover before him. All I know is that I can't stand the Dark Knight's Joker, I grew up with the animated series and Mark Hamil's Joker has just stuck with me, so there would probably be a lot of similarities to that Joker, including a possible Mad Love spin-off-ish thing after he's thrown into Arkham for the first time. However I want to get rid of that kiddie feel, even though he doesn't seem THAT kidish in the cartoon, now that I'm older and watch it. I'll certainly have to do my research before we try and climb that mountain. xDD
