There is no New Game +.

Considering the structure of Arkham Asylum, it would be difficult to execute.

New game + is starting the game with everything you had at the end of the previous playthrough. I think it might make the game far too easy.

the only way I would want that is if they disable easy and normal, so that the player will be forced to play on hard with all the upgrades

Maybe they will only have New Game + if you beat it, then start it on hard.

Hopefully the riddles you have already solved will carry over to your next playthrough though.

Well we know after the game is over you can go back and go over Arkham Island, so if your missing some you could just use that feature.

Yea but that doesn't change the fact that you won't be able to play through the game with all of your gadgets that you acquire...meaning that you can't fight the enemies again, as they don't respawn after you kill them once.

I think New Game + is a pretty cool way of showing how awesome Batman could be. I mean, cmon Resident Evil 4 had that gun that cost 1,000,000 and you could just pwn guys for fun. New Game + should be a reward for finishing the game...not necessarily a defining factor of easy or cheap imho

No I think the gadgets you earn in Story Mode is carried on to Challenge Mode...I don't think XP would be carried over.

Challenge mode and story mode have the same Batman, but challenge mode restricts certain things to make it challenging.

Reguarding new game+, the stuff should be carried over to a new profile because, quite frankly, if you are worried about it beint "too easy" or that it should only be on hard/expert, start a new game and let the fresh start be fresh. If I want to quadruple batclaw the 4 guys in the stealth room over the edge I should be able to. If I want to c.s. The electric field in the beginning and beat the Joker to a bloody quivering mess, I should be shot and killed by him; watching Bats die so that he doesn't create a time paradox (Gordon could do the same...). Just look at Dead Space for a great example of new game+!

This is how the game structure works, you have 4 new game slots, in which you could select easy, medium, etc... Once you start a new game in the other 3 slots remaining your gadgets and moves will cary on with you as stated before in one of the previews.

P.S. And it was Sefton Hill who said the xp carry over from the challenge rooms into the main game in the FreeFlow combat walkthrough video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DX2C9F0JnfI Start watching at 1:50.

I'm not sure he's saying that the actual points you get are going towards XP in the main storyline. I think he's refering to the fact that big mulitpliers equal big amounts of XP in the main storyline.

Listen to it, but then again this was posted up a while ago and they might have decided to take it out now.
