Type A - Because they seem like the most natural to use, and I wanted to have the same control type as seen in gameplay videos.

Type A: I'm much faster on the L1 than I am on the L2, I dunno why though, I've no problem with teh R1 or R2.

I agree, why shouldn't we be allowed to fully customize the control scheme?

It's all too common a trend for console games to have a few preset control schemes (deemed fit by the developers) as opposed to allowing the player to choose how they wish to play.

I've dug up an article that's comprised of several die-hard gamers expressing their pining for a more thorough customization of controls with this 360/PC game (which later came to PS3), and I doubt that PS3 users would disagree. Mind you, this is a thread made for another highly praised game with great anticipation (Bioshock). Personally, I'm going to buy B:AA no matter what, but it really is for the better interest of Eidos and Rocksteady to take these concerns - especially those on this forum - into account. http://forums.2kgames.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-534.html
