What the ...?!
WTF?! I watched tomb raider movie last night, and I just thought how strange this was... The man who has the clock, shoots lara's dad in a flashback on a cliff edge. But in tomb raider underworld natla says she killed lara's dad! It makes no sense what so ever! Her dad didn't die twice, and it's just weird. Did you guys notice this?

That's why I hate the movies: they are completely unrelated to the game's actual storyline.

yeah! Aren't the luminati in the da vinci code movie? or is that angels and demons? :S my family agrees tomb raider movies are crap.

LOL i watched it too, i dont even like the films i only liked the part where they break into the manor... i sure hope that if they dont revamp the manor in TR9 we can explore the whole manor

i know! i wanted to go in the rooms on the top floor in the open garden bit in between gym and hallway.
 it'd have been nice since winston always appears up there in anniversary. he's every where! one minute he's there, then the next he's there! he's an old stalker!

as an independant movie its fine, i personally wouldn't tailor it up with the games, because then you get mish mashed storylines (like the one you speak of) the films should stay to their own storyiline, as the games should, i actually like most game to movie adaptations, the resident evil series happen to be among my favortie movies, as well as silent hill and tomb raider (all movies lol i know how confusing that sounds...)

i think they should create films out of TR: Anniversary, Legend, and Underworld. and if they did, to put EVERY SINGLE event from the games.
*but that would be a miracle if they did that

Since the next movie is going to be a reboot that delves into the origin story of Lara, I had an idea;
What ever happens in this movie, after the explosive climax when you usually have the wrap up scenes, the movie ends in this epilogue - Lara in Calcutta approached by man who places a laptop on the table, as he says "may I introduce Jaqueline Natla"... cut to black, credits roll. Or maybe this scene as an after credits easter egg.

Like said 3 story lines.
Films: completely different from Core (at the time was the only TR). Core: Like said above, was the only TR at the time the movie was created, so they added in what they think would happen to her father, since there was no evidence in Core's games of what happened to him. CD: The current story line. Everything is revamped from the past films + Games.
