Default To Eidos and Rocksteady, From the Fans...

Myself and others have been coming to this forum since it went live... a forum for the fans.

While there has been a lot of generous content on the site it also has been a conduit of just flat out frustration.

The updates and blogs being just one but they simply just pale in comparrison to the frustration that the lack of communication on the forums has brought.

Keir stating today "I'm chasing this up at my end and I will get back to everyone with some kind of update as soon as I can." is another unsettling statement.

"Some kind of update"?

Coming "soon"?

Is this really happening... again?

After all this time why would the communication not be in place and settled?

Its the last day of the month, we all knew this day has been coming.

Basically "the fans" for which this game and the forums have been designed for and with them in mind are being giving misleading information that only leads to utter frustration.

Please do not flame in this forum, all has been said (and more) that needs to.

In summary it needs to be pointed out that this really came to a head beginning with the tongue in cheek "is there a God/demo announcement of an annoucnement".

Not holding true to that is one thing and can be understood but to let the date pass without any kind of statement to the fans on these forums certainly was a severe slight to these fans.

It is inconceivable that the communication could not be improved.

In conclusion, it would be quite refreshing if we could conclude this awkward dance today, July 31st 2009, and get some real fan service about the demo announcement.

There are many games that do not get demo release dates announced weeks or months ahead of time. Some don't even get announced until day of or just a couple of days before. Keir has apologized in the past for the communication error. He is trying to get you the best most up to date information but the information has to be ok'd by many sources like WB, Eidos and others. When he has an answer he will post it.
