XNALara modding thread

Hi! I'm a huuuuuuge fan of XNALara (you may have seen me very active there on TRF before the Admin decided to throw me around like a little toy ) so I decided to create an XNALara modding thread! This thread originally existed in TRF, but unlike this one it was mainly texture modding. This thread will hopefully cover everything from tips on mesh-modding to editing lightmaps I'll start by posting a link to my texture modding guide It's called Advanced Texture Modding for a reason! :cln: There's lots of great tips in there so that you can really exploit every tiny detail in XNALara and use them to your great advantage Ever wondered how to color the sidestripes on the Wetsuit properly? It's all revealed (and more!) here I hope you use it!

Also I have loads of models up through this link, lots of which are listed and shown below (Note that there are also loads of other models, but I will cover everything on my XNALara website when it's finished )

Well, actually Madecine, that's a XNA Lara modding thread, that's true, but this one is Mesh Modding. It's slightly diferent. XNA Lara modding thread is to change the textures of the outfits. This thread is to change the meshes of the outfits like making a Wetsuit with Jungle Shorts. It's quite diferent but both have similar names

Besides, this one not only covers Lara's Models but also object models.

The other topic is also a mesh modding thread, there are bikinis and the TR2 snow outfit. You're right about the objects, but maybe that could be in an apart topic as well. (I just love categorizing )
It would just be nice if all modded outfits were in 1 topic, all together.

Yeah as KlankDaxter said, this is everything to do with changing XNALara, not just texture modding You know, requests, questions, help, anything that isn't an original release by Dusan But you're right it's a bit similar Shall we let the mods decide?

Sorry, sorry let me get this straight. You decided that, in order to let everyone know some actually quite unusable information, you would revive the thread that you are criticising? Did I get that right? And not only that, but I presume you are making a point that I didn't look for a pre-existing modding thread below this one, and yet you completely failed to miss this:

Yeah sorry, I was quite stressed earlier. I didn't mean to take it out on you Sorry! Just, something quite serious has come up in my life, and it was making me quite worried. For me, worry turns to anger, which is usually taken out on innocent bystanders Sorry again!

errr i'm lost with how to put the mods on the dummies. i sort of understand what some people say but when i go do it, it's wrong, so can someone explain how to put the mods on? x_x

You move the extracted files ( but still in folders) into the data folder, next to the dummie folder Then you load the program and insert your model The models are named as the folder I believe

What exactly are you trying to do? You haven't really explained it very well
