Default Questions about Xbox LIVE

Hi guys! I joined to the Xbox LIVE community and I am trying to download some things. But it says that I need Microsoft points? Can someone explain this to me? Thanks.

Gotta pay for stuff on XBL .... yea its not like PSN ... you have to pay for almost everything on xbox except demos

You can either use a credit/debit card to buy them automatically or you can go to the store (ie walmart, best buy) and buy redeemable cards with points on them (like itunes cards)

Oh! I always thought that we could bought the things with our achievements!. That is not fair!. Well, thanks for telling me KnowHowIGotThisScars?

I'll check on Wal-mart if they sell those things. Do you know where on Wal-Mart I can buy the cards with points? Is it on the videogames area?

I own both systems and they equaly abuse their rights to make us pay for what should be free. The only thing I can think of that is free on PSN and not XBL is their basic backgrounds, but the ones that actualy interface with the Playstation cost money. So yes both systems pay for DLC both systems have free demos and both systems pay for good wallpapers. only the XBL makes you pay to play.

I have another question. Once people create the downlodable things for games, they don't do anymore on the future? I mean, if they make a Costume pack 2, they won't make a costume pack 3?

It all depends. I mean you can ask that to any game company from Sony to Microsoft. >_>

It's possible, we don't know yet. I'd say probably some costume changes at the least.

Yeay! That would be good. Maybe a secret armor that has 2 capes on the costume! Great!

I have another question. If I have the silver membership for Xbox LIVE 360, can I play with others if I add them to my friendlist?

No. Gold membership is the thin that allows multiplayer. You can doe verything with your xbox live silver membership except online multiplayer.

Its 20 for 3 months or 50 for a year. And you just invite them to your party and play.

You pay to play because this makes Xbox consoles less expensive.

But still, it's too much money, and who knows if you can play with people 1 day of the week. It isn0t so bad, but I thought it would be 3 dollars per month. Well, that is bad. And what if a person that has the gold membership, invites me to his game, can I play with that person? or I can't either?
