And while that concept is a joke, it would also make a compelling premise. Lara an archaeologist pairing with a time traveler who can literally visit forgotten ruins when they were in their prime. Then he can make his witty retort about how he scoffs at archaeologists because he's a time traveler

Or given how long the Doctor Who series has been around, what if Lara as a young child had watched it, which fostered her fascination with the past, and exploration in general?

The Doctor & Lara teaming up is indeed a brilliant premise. It's just a shame it's never likely to happen. Throw in James Bond and you have three of the greatest British cultural icons in one story, which would be ridiculously awesome. Even more never going to happen, though. Can you imagine trying to persuade the three rights holders it'd work?

Which is a darn shame, all things considered...

Width is fine. I usually don't thumbnail until it's over 720 pixels wide, sometimes even 800

This is, you might say, an experiment. It's literally as far as I've gotten, even in the planning stage. The idea of actually making a comic, entirely from scratch, even using XNALara is more than a little daunting.

I'm still learning how to use GIMP, still not really proficient with XNALara... But this idea was too fun not to at least do an intro for! So here it is!

I hope you can... I'm not sure when - or even IF - I'll continue. Need a few models I don't yet have and a great story idea beyond 'wouldn't it be cool if...'

Finding the voices for the characters is the hard part... And finding the models, of course!

I have no Tardis interior, though I think I may be able to do without it, and no Sonic Screwdriver, which is a major stumbling block! But at least I have the villain(s)! That's something, right?

(Also lacking an actual script, but compared to the rest that's the easy part! )
