Thief 2: glitch on the bank level

on the bank & trust level
everytime i start this level, whether from the beginning or a loaded file, and i press the up arrow to GO, it auto-runs. you have to hold down the up or down arrow to make him stand still!
i can't be a stealthy thief and RUN everywhere!
so annoying.
i vaguely remember having this issue with a level on the dark project, but i think reloading just fixed it, it only happened once.
anyone else?
do i need a patch?
help!

There's no patch for it. Just mess with the caps lock button, or shift, and it should go away. If not, let us know.
