binkw32.dll

Hey guys, Sorry If this topic has already been posted, but I searched this issue here but I didnt find it.
I installed the game and when I clicked the sr2.exe a error message appeared: "binkw32.dll not found. Try to reinstall..."

THe binkw32.dll file is right there, in Eidos Interactive/Soul Reaver 2/ folder. Its version 1.1.2.0. I also tried to download another version of this file, but it didnt work either

any suggestions?

Try running this command:

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Eidos Interactive\Soul Reaver 2\binkw32.dll"

oh, I've tried it already, this message appeared:
"binkw32.dll was loaded, but the entry point DllRegisterServer wasnt located"
I have this terrible feeling that I have to format my PC again u.u''

There is a Patch for Soul Reaver 2.... try to download it...

linykraito, We've made a progress here, Thank you. I installed the newest patch and the Eidos logo appeared when I clicked Play on the autorun screen, but a error message says: "Please, insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application"
I tried to play using the sr2.exe from the cd but the binkw32.dll problem insists to stay with me.
