Halloween Hallabaloo Contest!

Now is your chance to enter the Official Eidos Forums "Carve an Eidos game Jack 'o' Lantern" Halloween pumpkin carving contest!

Simply carve a beautiful, scary, horrid,

amazingly amazing Eidos Game related Halloweeeeeeen Pumpkin especially for this contest, take a picture of it, and post it here.

Submit your pumpkin now and up until the blackest of black nights to win, and 2 weeks from now on or around All Hallow's Eve the lucky winning Eidos member's pumpkin will be announced and the winner contacted to recieve a special prize sent from The Great Mad Pumpkin Man (the Eidos office nearest them).

The winner will be decided by a non-biased all-mod jury from all Eidos game forums on this site. (Polls are too often popularity contests, so to keep it fair, we will do the voting in our super secret private labs.)

The prize will be announced after we exhumed

----I mean decided upon it.

I want to enter, but they don't sell pumpkins here... Sure, I can use a plastic one, but it will end up with loads of ugly scars.

Where is here, Rexie? Halloween is sweeping Europe, so check several of the grocery stores near you, or ask a few farmers.

Even the smaller green or whitish squash will do.

Finland. Thats's probably because we don't celebrate haloween.

Or maybe they do, but all I saw in stores were made of wax, behind a farmer, with that creepy grin on his face... (No, he doesin't talk)

I will try and find something anyway.

Love the contest, but (a few years ago) I went with a knife into a pumpkin ( a little one) and that was just..And than the pupmkin went black and it was scaring me :| XD
.. I don't have the skills xD ( yet )

But here too.. This is not the place to celebrate Halloween

Slowly, very slowly, it's coming.. but you won't even notice that Halloween is coming. Just a few shops have Halloween stuff.. It's nice, but it could better

Maybe I will try something, but I doubt it.. It's time for me to get my studies straight and probably the TR:U demo will be a problemo

I like the sound of this special prize.
However I will not be entering as there is too much talent around here and my pumpkin will not even be comparable.

Punkins are used in North America because they were big and plentiful and made cool Jack o'-Lanterns. The Irish and Celto-Britons used large turnips and beets originally, before they brought the Jack-o'-Lantern practice to America and started using pumpkins, so maybe pumpkinless folk can use whatever gourd is native to their region?

God, i'll have a go when me and my mum do the pumpkin cutting, but if i tell my mum about it she'll call me a geek and start laughing, i'm a girl so she would. but i'll have a go anyway, maybe do lara frowning(I am a good drawer apparently) and draw guns behind her, kinda like a crossbone skull. it'll take me a long time probably, i'll have to get a big pumpkin, mum can do the halloween ones and i'll do the one i thought of! Please don't copy me peoplez...

With pumpkins being only £1-£1.50 here.. I've got an idea for one!

And I shall do it!

It's just, I'm not very good with my hands (about from sewing and crocheting!), so it might not come out so good!

But if I'm the only one - then I win by default! Yay!

Now all I have to do is buy a pumpkin and start hurting myse-...err I mean, carving the pumpkin.

Try to find the biggest vege you can find, but if all else fails use fruit. All entries will be judged with kind (bloodshot, mesmerizing, horrific, strangely coloured) eyes.
