Thumbs up

I think she is FABULOUS!! She IS as much Lara Croft as one can get, just like the other models were for their game and time.

I look forward with happy anticipation every game to see who will be the next Lara Croft model because they are all such fascinating and beautiful and talented women. It's always thrilling to see what a real live girl can do in Lara's boots.

Nice job so far, Alison, you look and move AMAZING!!! Thanks for letting us borrow you for a time to give flesh to our heroine.

I can not wait to meet you in Leipzig.

You get to be Lara Croft for a year or two and then you are expected to move on ...

Meet Allison ...

For my part, I'd like to say that its a pleasure to have you represent the new, more naturally athletic, Lara featured in Underworld.
Your swan dive pic is stunning (a new wallpaper for me) and what an entrance!!!
No Lara model has burst onto the scene quite like this ...
I'm looking forward to good times with you as Lara.

Best Wishes,
Were not ''Un-Savory'' just nit picky. Everyone has their own image of Lara Croft and what she should look like. Same thing happens every time a new TR model surfaces, its the usual ''well i liked this model better than that one'' etc etc. Comes withe the territory of being the woman Lara Croft lol.

I personally don't have a problem with alison as i think shes a beautiful woman and will bring alot more versatility to Lara as a whole with all the new moves we'll be able to do. Do I prefer Karima? yeah I do. Do I know it's a tradition to change models? yes I do.

My guess is Alison will end up growing on us like past models have and then when it's time for Alison to move on, we'll nit pick about that too and say ''noo we liked alison better!'' lol

I admit I wasn't too keen on Alison when I first heard about it but now after viewing the pictures of her and seeing her in motion, listening to her talk. I think she will be a good Lara Croft.

So I think we should all give her a chance and think about what shes going to bring to the table for our heroine Lara Croft

At long last, a model who already has some of Lara's skills and flair. Alison looks like an excellent Lara model to me. I am optimistic that she'll do a great job for TRU promotion and beyond.

Yeah she seems genuinely excited about her role as Lara Croft and seems to be working hard at it judging from the videos ive seen of her that have been posted so thats a big thumbs up to me.

She seems like the one model who has both looks and complete athleticism to truely be a full fledge Lara Croft. I'm not bashing the other models because I think they were great too. But I don't think any of them have actually had this much athleticism to truly bring Lara Croft to life and add more variety of skills as Alison does.

Yeah saw that. Thanks for posting. I have high ups for her as Lara Croft. My guess is were going to get attached to this woman and when its her time to move on and a new model comes forth, were going to yell ''noooooooooooo'' lol.

I think she has moves like Lara but Karima has better Lara face. When we mixed Alison and Karima we get real Lara Croft (moves and face).

Pretty girl!
but Lara is only real in pixels to me (geek indeed )

Am I correct saying that there are some new screenshots in this video?

I just don't get the whole model idea. Don't get me wrong the new model is a pretty girl and she moves very nice. It's just that I don't get what we need her for. As a fan I like to see screens from the game, not from some Lara look-a-like.

I think I know what you mean by offending shots. I wasn't too crazy about those, for the sake of the image of Lara Croft.

This new person looks almost like a teenage Croft. Next time I'd like for them to look for someone who looks a little more hardened with the body of a beach volleyball player or professional rock climber. Even if they have to sacrifice some on the bust size.

They have models for promotional purposes. Veppie. So they can show fans a 'real live' lara in ways that showing a pixelated Lara wouldn't work. They can have a model actually climbing a wall or up close with her guns etc interacting with the fans at promotional events and so that magazines can interview her (as herself). If it helps promote the franchise, then a model will continue to be used.

Ayup All...

I like her, she looks really good as Lara ! after Tomb Raiding all this time, just HOW delicate could Lara be?

I like the 'real' look a lot. and no skin tight green rubber! hooray !

I couldn't say her costume's the best, but that's down to Eidos i guess... but good Luck to Allison ! I'm sure you'll be a positive role model ! AND it sounds like a LOT more fun than the boring job i'm doing as i type...

A model with some moves behind her... that's definitely thumbs up for me.

She most certainly seems keen about the opportunity to become the Lara Croft model and I can't to see what she has to give.

She looks great! When I first saw the pictures I had some doubts, but as soon as I watched the video I was totally convinced. She really has Lara's skills and personality. She's a bit tougher than Karima, and I like it!

It would have been nice to get some news coverage that didn't insist on commenting how-many-times about cleavage and small shorts? Really, journalistic standards are crap today. Everyone wants the sound byte and the I'm-cleverer-than-you-trophy.

I don't get the model thing either. I know they like to roll her out for games conventions, etc., but since E3 downsized there's not much point to them. It was a novel idea when it started, but now it seems passe. Nothing against Alison; I just don't think it's an effective marketing technique today.

Same here. I just don't get it. Ok, I guess it's useful to have someone stand around at a gaming booth when they're demonstrating the game, as a way to draw attention, but other than that, why would anybody care about this? And when I see people saying things like, "I hope she does a good job"... a good job doing what exactly? I've been playing TR games since 96, and I honestly couldn't tell you a thing about any of the previous models, so clearly their efforts aren't having any effect on whether or not I enjoy the games. I hope the game designers do a good job. I don't care what the models do.

I wonder if Kimara feels sad that she is not the model anymore
Anyway am not really affected by models . The only Lara that really catches my attention is Lara Croft coming from the videogame .
But I guess Allison does do a pretty good job . Good poses and pics , I'm impressed .

Cool Are you kidding me? What's to complain about?

I guess I am just a huge Lara Croft fan , and I am not ashamed about loving Lara in all her guises. I love the games (natch! ) I love the movies (AJ Rules! ) I love the comics, I love the playing cards, the books, the merchandise, the artwork, the companies that bring her to me, and I unabashedly love the models who bring her to life! Yay!! You go girls! It just makes more Lara for me to love, in my philosphy. If the point of the live models is to make me happy, well then, no other reason is needed.

I'll have a great time watching her in action. Bring it on!

To some of the people that have an opinion:

You might want to remember our be-nice-at-all-times-to-everyone-policy.

Even more, Alison is now an Eidos employee. Disrespect towards an Eidos employee on this official Eidos Tomb Raider forum is grounds for an immediate bums rush out the door.

After recent events (that include several bans) I thought there needed to be a fine point made on this house rule.

Thank you for your time and attention. Carry on.

Ahhhhh law and order is restored. *breathes in the tranquillity*

I am eager to see what she can do. Has there ever been a model capable of performing her own acrobatic stunts? Nevertheless, Eidos' possibilities with this model are certainly numerous in amount.
