Yes, for those of you who keep running into a DEP (Data Execution Prevention) error when trying to run Thief: DS, this should solve your problem.

Open commandoprompt (either through start>run or through the exe itself)

Once commandoprompt is up, type:

bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff

And reboot.

Voila!

[Edit] It should be noted that this turns off the protection for windows processes, so I would advice you to have a realtime scanning antivirus program.

I did about 15 times what you recomand but doesn't work.

Fry's Electronics and many other outlets sell full editions of Home, Pro, and the Upgrades.

In our area Pro is selling for about $150.00 and the upgrade for about $50.00.

Google is your friend.
