Default AOD Lack of water

When I fall into a pool of water and then get out of it, lara is not wet! What's wrong with it? I've installed all of the patches!!!

AOD wasn't properly finished; it's just a graphical element that was never perfected.

Yes, but, if my memory tells me, in the PS2 version Lara was wet, right?

Then I guess they had more time to finish it for that version. I'm honestly not sure.

Water effects back then are not what they are now. I doubt she was ever supposed to look wet.

You're forgetting the Last Revelation, where water leaked off of Lara whenever she got out of water.

Oh, there's no dripping? I thought the poster was referring to the new way the textures change when wet.

There was also a BETA version on PS2, also... However, I don't remember Lara looking wet when getting out of the water. Although, AOD was a very glitchy game, like the others said.
And patches don't always help....late response, I know. :P
