Default Last Revelation save games

I have re-installed the Sold Out version of LR and want to download the XP patches as well as the savegame files from Stella's website. This is because I had already
got about half way into the game but got into such a muddle downloading the savegames that I uninstalled the game before reinstalling it. Apparently I should have a Savegames file in The Last Revelation folder to put Stella's files into, but there isn't one. Can anyone help with very simple instructions on what I should do now that I have reinstalled the game? Also, there is a file called tomb4 (with a picture of Lara). Shouldn't there be one called tomb4.exe? Thanks.

There's no savegame folder for Last Revelation; just copy the savegame files into your main "Tomb Raider - The Last Revelation" folder.

Tomb4 should be called Tomb4.exe, but the .exe part will only show up if you have "Hide Extensions for known file types" unticked in Tools > Folder Options > View.

Thanks, Shrensh. I have changed tomb4 to tomb4.exe. Do I put the downloaded save games from Stella's site into the general Last Revelation folder, or to the subfolder tomb4.exe?

You're welcome

You don't need to put the saves in any subfolders, just stick them in C:\Program Files\Core Design\Tomb Raider - The Last Revelation

Do go to tombraiderchronicles.com and get the Last Revelation savegame patch to get 15 of them instead of 10; that patch really made me happier. What genius thought of only 10 save slots for such a long game? :S

Thanks everyone for help. I have downloaded the savegame file called "thelastrevelationcomplete" from the TombRaider Chronicles site to c: Program Files/Core Design/Last Revelation and unzipped them. but when I start to play the game there are no saved games when I click on Load game. Should I have done something else?

Make sure the files are in the same folder as the game, not a subfolder, as by doing so the game can't detect the saves.
