Im going to get underworld on PS2, but before i do that , i have to master TR:2 and TR:A, lol, I have this thing. (hopefully LaraCroftRox will buy it for me for my christmas and birthday... hint hint LCR! ) People say that its not going to be as good on PS2... but why not? Okay, PS2 might have slighty worse graphics than all the next generation consoles, but who cares? It can't get worse than Anniversary and Anniversary has really good graphics in my point of view. So yeah, PS2 it is.

Default What Console Are You Playing On?

PC, Xbox, Xbox 360, Psp, Ps1, Ps2, Ps3, Game Boy etc.. etc.

I agreed with you, I only play Tomb raider in my PS2 But I have a question for everyone, If Eidos will release TRU for PS2, why they didn't write in the main website?
Of course, sooner or later I will buy a PS3 but at this moment I can't get it

Yeah your SO right.
The graphics can't get worst than Anniversary.... and the PS2 version does look good.
I found myself asking, "Is this really the Ps2 version i'm playing, and not the Xbox 360 version?"
I just hope in Underworld it can be enhanced just a little more.

TRU promises to have an enhanced lighting model that will render better images than the Legend/Anniversary engine.
... and, of course, there's the other special effects like contextually sensitive color blending, etc.
So the game promises to look better on all platforms, as a result.
Its going to be tough just buying a single copy ...

Cool ... once is not enough

a single of TRU (PS2, Wii, PC-although hopefully Mac and possibly DS) ...

however, the PC copy is less likely given the new camera feature that allows you to take screenshots from within the game and send the pics to the net ...

Why Is some people buying more than one copy? like for Ps2,Ps3,Xbox360, and PC???? If u have just one of those why not just buy one for one of them?

Some people are collectors so they want to have each copy, although it doesn't necessary mean they have to play each copy...

Also I might be getting the DS version because it seems it's the same story but different experience.

Oh I get it.
Do you think Buzz Monkey will use a DVD dual layer disc (DVD-9), for the Ps2 and Wii versions?

You don't think it might be necessary?
Especially considering all those new features talked about.
Are you convinced that all of TRU will fit on 4.7 GB standard DVD disc?
If so........I too will be convinced.

Cool ... season to taste

you know how at the start of Legend when Lara asks her mother if plane is going to crash and Amelia responds "only if necessary" ...

... anyways, I'm hoping the PS2/Wii ports are over-stuffed with goodness ... each platform will have a unique flavor.

Talking xbox 360

I´ve played Legend and anniversay on both PC and PS2, decided it was time to move on to the next gen of consoles and bought a 360 because of the online stuff and also most reviews favor the 360.

Playing Legend and Aniversary on the 360 is so much better and I´m hoping Underworld will blow me away.

I´m also thinking about getting a PS3 because of God of War 3, what do you ps3 players think about the console? is it any good?

Cheers

I think the PS3 console is awsome and I look forward to playing TRU on it. Just be sure to get it connected to the internet to update it when needed. And hey, you can also use it as a Blu Ray disc player. If you have a high definition TV and an HDMI cable, you're all set.

If anyone is thinking of getting a PS3 and has the money but aren't sure if they should because of the cost, I'd say really consider getting one. It pretty much got me back into console gaming. The last console I had before this was the Nintendo 64. I never got into the Gamecube, PS2, or Wii. About a week before getting the PS3, not even that, if anyone told me I'll be getting a PS3 on my own decision I'd be like yeah right, get outta here. Then I wanted a Blu Ray player and any stand alone player that was about as good as the PS3 had around the same price tag. So I decided okay, I'll just get a PS3 then.
