I accidentally removed the e-mail related to my former account, and forgot my password. Yeah. Never remove the only way to restore or change your password.

Hi, I'm David. CPA living in Western Australia, the only part of Australia (it seems) that isn't experiencing unprecedented rainfall at the moment.

Accounting being as exciting as it is, I am trying to write a fiction novel on how humanity will have 'evolved' in 305 years' time.

Got into Sci-Fi in primary school with movies like Terminator, and moved up to Alien and Blade Runner later on. The ideas behind the 'potential' of the Human Race that lies in natural evolution and augmentation, and the moral, ethical and social issues behind them, have intrigued me for the past few years. Seeing the Human Revolution trainers now has me trying to convince the wife to let me get an X360 =P

Those floods are terrible. Something like $5 billion worth of damages. Ruined agriculture, and property. People have died. I hope you're safe and no one you know is affected.

Oh, and welcome.

Hello. My name is John.
Yes... just as you do... I do... well... I do have... well... you know... it's been for some time already... at first I did not realize that, it was a blow for my ego when my family made me realize that... err... yeah ... what I mean is that ...

I do have an internet problem too!

Here, *sigh*, I said it! I am not ready to share more yet. Maybe let us allow somebody else to speak. Anybody?

Thanks TrickyVein =)

Yep, and there is MORE rain coming. Considering the areas flooding at the moment were in drought less than 5 years ago, it's quite a crazy turn-around.

I would not be surprised if by necessity the idea of 'Floating Cities' would be investigated. Most of the houses in the flooded areas are stilted, so that would seem the next 'evolution' of cities.

You could just buy the houses from the Dutch. We've already got a few inhabited floating houses around. We've also got quite a bit of experience in water and flood management.

Hello everyone. My name is William. I'm 21 years old. I live in a small town in Bulgaria. I've been a gamer ever since I was 3 years old and I can say that I love this industry. I see a bright future for me in the game developing community. I am here so I can get all the information I need on Deus Ex Human Revolution. To meen new and interesting people and hopefully make some good friends I already pre-ordered the Augmented Edition of the game. I normally never pre-order games even those who I know I will like quite a lot(Darksiders is a perfect example) but Human Revolution made me think differently. I know what Square Enix are capable of with their great video design but when I saw the trailer I was in shock and awe. That trailer was so amazing it inspired me to play the other games So that's basically it guys. Hope we have a great time on this forum

Had a Google search on that. They reckon the Netherlands is actually sinking, and coupling that with higher rainfalls in the future. The Zuiderzee and Delta Works are impressive achievements, even considering their age.

Search up the the Lilypad floating cities designs. Intriguing to say the least. Not sure how people would adjust to living in huge metal rosepetals, but given the choice of that and oblivion, one could adjust =P

The names Ashley/Ash, I'm 21 and I'm from the UK and currently I'm studying Video game development at college and want to specialise into 3D animation when I go to uni next year. from a young age Ive always had a love for video games and lately I feel games have lost that innovation and fun factor which make games something that we will remember years to come hopefully DX:HR changes that.

In my spare time I love to read, cook, go for long walks in the country and listen to a multitude of different variety of music I also have a big love of photography and film

Welcome Axion!

Nice to see somebody who wants to make games. I go to uni this year and I want to study Video game design, but sadly there is no such school in my country, so I'd probably go to Graphical application development or Artificial intelligence. Currently I'm writing a lan game as my seminar work in Programming, but they taught us just the basics and I must learn nearly everything by myself. Lucky you that you have schools for this!

Well, cooking is surprising hobby for a gamer guy, but only now I realize how practical it could be.
