Okay, somehow managed to completely miss out on the fact that this thread exists :P

Hello, I'm Harry. To me, a computer games' story and cast are more important than specific gameplay styles.
I also read roleplaying rulebooks, am an Brit who lives in Germany, and am a Transhumanist.

I also suck at formating forum posts, and am cronic lurker.

Hi fellas,

my name is Jakub (Jacob, James...) and I live in the Czech Republic, the country of Mafia and Machinarium. I play strictly on PC and sometimes I also write about it on a gaming blog, run by a friend of mine.

I am a Sci-Fi addict. The original Deus Ex was one of first games I've played, and it heavily influenced my gaming taste. I like to observe and try to understand a game, how developers meant it to be played (why is this here?, what is a function of this?), in other words, I'm always curious

I'm also an optimist and I like to comment everything, so be prepared I warned you

Hello all. Fellow Deus Ex fan here! Excited about HR. Just finished reading some of the thread on the philosophy of transhumanism and I'm thinking, "yep, this is where I belong."

Anyway, I'm down south, in South Florida. I work as a psychotherapist in a hospital. I love technology and believe that the rate of technology change IS altering us as a species as we speak. Some of us are more aware of it than others. It's a wave and I'm loving the ride.

BTW, February 2011 is sooo damn far away.

Hi all, i am new to Deus Ex but hopefully will be playing the new game.
I did buy the original game but for some reason it stops installing at the last part, probably the cd is bad so will have to buy another version.

I am an RPG gamer and playing Risen at the moment, good game however a hard game.
I am a Sci-Fi fanatic so the new game is interesting even if transhumanism is nothing really new in Sci-Fi.
Deus Ex is one of the 4 games i have in my list to buy in 2011.
