My TRA game (PS2) doesn't work

Please, guys, help me!
A week ago, i was playing TRA. No problems, the game was working well. Then I turned off my PS2 and did some sutff I had to do. Later that day, I wanted to play Anniversary again so I turned on the PS2, and something weird happened. The PS2 logo appeared, as always, but then the screen was black and nothing hapenned. I pressed all buttons, I cleaned the disk, and game still didn't load.
Today I was going to play TRA and the samething hapenned. I don't know why, my other games work fine, my PS2 is okay too, my TRA is in good conditions... what should I do?

You've just picked up a dud game. I have done that to, I bought a LOTR game and it would not load, so I got it transferred for another game, and guess which one it was?!?

TR AoD. The first ever TR game I've played and what made me fall in love with TR. Fate, or what?

Hopefully you can get it exchanged for another game, or have it tested. Don't panic.

You might be right, Rachie. tomorrow I'll go to the store to see what they can do, since the game warranty expired already.
I really can't understand why this is hapenning; I have this game since last christmas and it always worked fine.

i have good news. After a excessive cleaning of the disk, the game miraculously worked again , and I didn't have to go to the store. thanks for you help anyway.
