Default San Fran & San Diego

I am planning on visiting those places in September/October and was wondering if anyone could recommend any good Navy display/museums to visit there. My wife has a degree in shopping so I figure I should have a day to myself in both places.

When you get to San Francisco, check out the Fisherman's Wharf area. It's basically a tourist stop, lots of shopping and food. But there are several maritime things to see including a well preserved WW2 sub, a "Liberty Ship", an old "tall ship" and museum.

Check out this link for more info.

If your wife has a degree in shopping, she can work on her masters while in San Francisco.
