I've only really played Tomb Raider so had to vote for that. Although LOK sounds quite good.

Argh, it's too hard. I've played both Hitman and Tomb Raider so it's a choice between the two.

Although due to the fact that I've played Lara more than I've played 47 (1 game in the series vs 8), I'm gonna say Tomb Raider.

Glad you voted for Tomb Raider as your favourite game series. It sounds like you've been playing your favourite game series for a long time. I love playing our heroine, what's-her-name, sorry, it slipped my mind, could you remind me?

    Wink

I edited a few posts also in TR General Discussion, thinking I'd made a spello with Ms Croft's name. Sacrilage!! Is this another competition? Cos if it is I spotted it first and enquired on Phlip's site as testament

I've been away for so long I thought Eidos had changed her name. I couldn't see any Sticky threads *Feels all confused and last century*

And I've done it again. As you can see, spelling isn't one of my strongpoints today. I should have typed Lara. (yay, I've spelt it right, finally)

Lol Xaander Le, you've already dug yourself in too deep, you're beyond the point of no return hehe.

Edit: OMG, wait a sec...Lara, Lara. This is too much! That's in part what is special about today! It wasn't you after all Xaander, I got taken in as well.

You were saying? Let me try writing it without the censor correcting me:

    Laura, Laura, La.ra

Gads! It's removing my caps now

I forgot about that. So it isn't my bad spelling! (Her name is L a r a)
    Good anagram Lo.

I've found proof it is the website that is playing up. It isn't displaying the text properly. I went to change the spelling on one of my other posts and found that the word I was trying to spell was correct yet when you scroll to the post above it still comes out wrong. If you don't believe me, type L-a-r-a into a post window (without the hyphens) and see what happens, it will change to spell Laura.

LoK all the way. I couldn't get into Thief, Commando's was good, I hated Tomb Raider, LoK was just great. Loved it to bits.

Legacy of Kain all the way... hopefully this voting will get us a new LOK game soon.

Wow, a lot of Croft fans here. I voted for Deus Ex, though (mostly for the story elements), and Thief would be a close second. For me, Deus Ex was most of the great concepts of Thief, with a superbly immersive story thrown in.

Legacy of Kain. and i'll prove why. because its been ages now since the last game and still people are talking about it!

it will be a very poor choice if the story isnt ended. i for one dont like following a story and never finding out how it ends.

there are rumores about that there is ment to be another coming out. i just hope its true :/

Huh. It's been a while since I've wandered into this thread. I just assumed it was still the old one. Anyway, I'm still voting Legacy of Kain. Eidos has yet to do any better (not that my vote for LoK is by default, mind you. It's very worthy of it!).

Having played all these games as they came out, I've got to say that Deus Ex made the biggest splash in terms of an innovative game. TR is successful because of the protagonist's, ahem, assets .
DX:IW wasn't amazing as a sequel to the first game, but stood up well as a game in its own right.

    DX3 all the way...
