I agree about DX not being the best series because of IW and I voted for Thief but it could have also been Hitman. I love that series but Thief needs to be continued while Hitman is successful enough.

Well, what can we say. There are bad games and good games, niche games and games you can read about in a daily, but some games just take a bunch of gamers and turn them into community. Which is kind of ironic, seeing how Thief's protagonist is a deliberately antisocial cynic.

How the frek is Deus Ex doing better than Commandos? Deus Ex is very good but it is a single game. If you are talking about the Deus Ex SERIES would it not be correct to say that only 1 is good (and 3 isn't out yet but you just know some people have voted because the trailer got them overexcited), whereas Commandos 1 AND 2 are great, and of the Thief SERIES 1 and 2 are fantastic and 3, although the weakest of the series, is still better than DXIW.

So what's up with that?

Ever since I first played it maybe a little later than some. Thinking game. Atmospheric. Puzzles and story The best!.

I've only played Thief deadly shadows on the hex box, I tried playing the other games but still wish they were made for the console. And we LOK fans are not Tards . at least we have a game that every one can play on any system so far ( except BO1 and Soul Reaver).

Of course, but you have to realize, and you probably don't, most of these taffers are from TTLG, sister station to Eidos and thief, and some of the most cynical, and fun as hell people on the planet. All out of love.

Obviously, fans of LOK actually have high intellect, and comprehension skills, which I suppose to mainstream gamers, LOk's brillant and deep stories are probably over most of your heads. I hope this new trendy type of gamers and consoles fade out soon, returning gaming back to us hardcore gamers. Games that require a little understanding, and not some rehashed gimmicks to make a quick buck. Just looking at this recent poll, turns my stomach in disgust... Kain will be back, my faith substains me.

We all have our favourite amid many types of games.
I have played Tombraider some what as well. Mean to play more.
Just love all the Thief fan missions just at the moment
Never used an xbox. ps1 2 or 3.

Some participants of this thread may be unaware, that one of more common and obvious insults in the City where Thief takes place, is "taffer". Given its versatility ("what the taff, you taffing taffer, stop taffing with me taffing now") I would dare to call it the City's T-word. What seems to me as the paramount irony is that users of TTLG have grown a habit of referring to each other with this very word. In fact, the plural form, "taffers", is often used where one means to say "Thief fans". So I guess we might call it even for today and stop using any and all t-words whatsoever, because we are all lierae enough o be able o insul each oher wih jus he res of he alphabe.
