I am curious to know........

....How many people managed to get the relic in Sanctuary of the Scion without using a guide/walkthrough etc.

I tried to get this last night and after 2 hours of failure I had to consult the walkthrough and I have to admit I would NEVER have got this relic without using the guide !

So did people use a guide for this relic or not. Please answer truthfully...!!!

I can honestly say - hand on heart - I didn't use a guide. I've never used a guide for any of the Tomb Raiders.

To be brutally truthful, I can't even remember which was the Relic in Sanctuary. Are you talking about the Ankh switch in the two statues room? Or are you talking about the one in the last pillar room?

It was the Horus Idol and it was hidden in a locked alcove high up on one of them two statues.

You had to do a lot of backtracking to get this relic and you had to raise and lower the water levels a few times. I struggled with this cos I wasn't flicking the switches and raising/lowering the water levels in the correct order.

After a few hours of mental torture I caved in and consulted the walkthrough and eventually got this relic.

Hats off to all those who never use guides/walkthroughs for these games. In all the TR games I've played - 1,2,3,4,Legend and now TRA I have always had to consult a guide at some point to save me from the mental torture these games can put you through

LoL! I got it totally by accident. Coudn't find the way out of the room, but found the way to the relic instead! And I got it UNDERWATER... I have no idea how to get it normally

no walkthrew, I did it by figuring HOW to do it then did it again, for the record, once the gate is open fill the room with the water, or not makes no difference, you can still get it either way, Trick is OPENING the damn gate.

I found it by pure accident. no guides needed. >.<

I waited until the room filled up with water and then I swam down to get it, she nearly drowned but it was worth the relic

i noticed the extra lever or two to get it but read a guide
