Anyone else having trouble creating a save file on the PS3? I just keep getting a message saying "Save failed! Check memory card in slot 1 and please try again."

If you play a PS1 game on a PS2 you need to use a PS1 memory card to save. Is it the same playing PS2 games on a PS3? Do you perhaps need to use a PS2 memory card.

No, there's no actual slots for memory cards on the PS3 since it has the internal hard drive. You have to assign the game a "slot" to save to for PS2 games but it's not working for me with this game. I got halfway through the game and had to leave the house so I had to shut the system down. I don't want to start playing again unless I can save.

Mike, you sure you set up the PS2 memory card option in the PS3's XMB 1st?
