Hello midway,

The installation may of incorrectly read your CPU speed or otherwise made an error - ignore the message regarding your CPU.

LAN play was broken in version 1.0 (the original release) and the steps you need to take to play are as follows:

> Clean All Your Copys Of Battlestations Midway (All Computers) [Uninstall]
> Reinstall The Game On All Computers.
> Apply The 1.1.1 Patch To The Game On EVERY computer you wish to play on.
> Do Not Attempt To Overwrite The Game Executable With The Demos - This Is No Longer Required.

--

Please ensure you are using the correct patch.

> If you downloaded this title from Direct2Drive, the patch you should be using is located here: http://www.direct2drive.com/patches/

> If you downloaded this title over STEAM, the patch is applied automagically.

> Boxed Retail users should download the patch from http://www.eidosdownloads.com/battle...ay/update2.asp

--

If you are able to enter into LAN play, but you experiance latency, please check your network for problems. Also, if you are attempting to play over a Wireless LAN you may well experiance strange latency issues - switch to wires if gaming is your thing. Wireless LAN is wonderfull for the world wide web, but pretty sucky for networked gaming in my experience.

Cheers,

-Lexxy.

Thumbs down

Before half our i make this excelent game to work my Lan with that steps

1)Clean All Your Copys Of Battlestations Midway (All Computers) [Uninstall]
2)Reinstall The Game On All Computers
3)To Overwrite The Game Executable With The Demos

And all works fine no more lag no more crach everythink ok

When i put any patch (1.1 or 1.11) game works but with laaaaaag

My opinion is every patch destroy the lan game and yes demo exe not have problems

Congrats Eidos guys!!! but i don't buy any game from eidos up to release a correct patch
