Fun Screenshot Competition - Round One

Thanks for mentioning that, Treeble. Unfortunately, I messed up again! I thought I was playing TR2, but I just realized I was playing TR2 Gold. It's been a long time since I've played the Maria Doria level. Please forgive me, Lo, but I just can't get it together. I think I'm just in too much of a hurry. My one screenshot that I was inspired to take is from TR1 (I was thinking of Anniversary and its roots). I'll just hold off to avoid embarrassing myself further and wait until I can enter the one I took or I think of another appropriate one.

Why not run two screenshot competitions then. Why not have a second competition for AOD and Legend (and maybe Anniversary if the competition continues long enough). The better graphics from the later games do give those screen shots the upper advantage.

Oh - Captain Mazda, sorry you missed out. Trouble is that the end of your day would effectively be the start of the next for me being on a different time zone But this is a warm up so hopefully by the next round you'll have loads of goodies saved in your folder to choose from

I'm hoping to be able to participate in the next round. I am going away on the day the voting ends and round two starts. I'll be taking one game home to install on my mum's PC if it will work and will have to try and get a screen from there and hope to upload it as her comp is so slow and dial-up plus she gets disconnected frequently. I'm on dial-up but a better speed and a full two hours inbetween cut-offs!

I'll try and do the winner thread in the morning - I'll ensure I have everything packed and ready to give me more time in the morning! I'll be awy until the 21st so will be back for round three definitely, woo hoo!

Thanks Captain - I have just about enough time to do the results and PM the winner with a set of the rules - hopefully they will then remember when the voting starts as I shall miss one Tuesday (but may be able to upload a screenshot at mums! Her machine is so slow lol).

If I am offline for any reason or I just forget what with being distracted with family stuff, it would be fantastic if you could remind the winner that voting is due to start if they forget! Lo. you should start a score board. Ethier at the bottom of your first post or on another sticky thread.

That way you can can record who won what contest with what votes and what picture, and the winners can have thier name in lights for everyone to see!

Nice idea Athiest! If so I'll have to wait until I am back on my own machine as this one takes ages to come to life and I haven't even attempted to upload any practice shots yet - it's my dear mother's computer and it's a little err sluggish
