Natla = Amanda = Sophia (TRA Natla pics inside - SPOILERS)

It is amazing how much the old Natla looks like Amanda and how the new Natla looks like Sophia Leigh. I just hope CD doesn't act on this by making Amanda Natla's daughter or turning Natla and Sophia Leigh into the one person since they are so similar in character as well (both own huge business company, create mutants, have been around WAY longer than they look, both keep returning from the dead plus Sophia has her face lift company)

Natla and Amanda actually dont look THAT much alike. I'm sure CD won't go that route anyway. If they do make a connection it probably won't be that route.

yeah, Amanda does look like the "old" Natla. maybe this is why CD changed our beloved Natla almost completly?
as for Sophia, sorry, I can't see it. I can only see that Sophia looks a lot like the "old" Lara *I wonder why*

Well, even though that she was pretty much made up of about 1/4 of the pixels, they could of at least made her a bit better.... but hey, not all people in games need to be stereotypically drop-dead gorgeous can they now?

But what also kinda troubles me is, why the hell are they using something that looks near-urber-modern for today back in 1996 for a laptop? i dont know; back then... i dont think there would of been even a brick lap-top that would of done what it did..... but hey, shes some evil temptress-loony from Atlantis who was pretty dam smart.... hence them able to freeze her i guess....



anyhoo.... changes are changes... and they are made... :P

I disagree that all these characters look alike. It is easy for people to stereotype individuals into a particular group. I believe this is what has happened in Tom Raider that all the blondes of the series have been put into one group by some simply because they are all blondes.

The new Natla looks nothing like the other women. She does not even look like the old Natla. The old Natla has tanned skin, a wide face, wide eyes, a very small nose, very short hair, a hairstyle that is combed to the right, and dresses in casual business clothes. Amanda has white skin, a normal face, normal eyes, normal nose, short hair, a hairstyle that is combed to the left, and dresses in both normal clothes and a great gothic outfit. Sophia Leigh has yellow skin, a normal face, wide eyes, a pointy nose, long hair, a hairstyle that is combed back, wears a necklace, and dresses in elegant business clothes. The new Natla looks very beautiful though in an exotic skinny supermodel type of way. She has light peach skin, a long face, normal eyes, a long thin nose, long hair, hairstyle that is combed to the left, wears a red scarf, and she dresses in very casual business clothes.

yep. the new Natla looks monster-ish already in the beginning. hmm...Boaz, anyone?
anyway, it kind of bugs me, because TR1's plot is (sort of) "how Natla managed to fool everyone, but our beloved Lara showed her who's the boss". so she was/looked like a very beautiful business woman.
now that she's monster-ish, her "real self" wouldn't surprise anyone. also, wouldn't it be a bit more difficult to "relate" to her this way? ah well, CD changed a lot from the original plot, so it'll probably fit somehow...

Where you see all the icons where say the bold and italics, underline etc are.. right at the very end of the bar it says: "Wrap [SPOILER] tags around selected text"

So all you need to do it selected the 'spoiler text' and click that and tada!

Suuuuuuure, a short nose .... actually tis kinda long and thin.... She has a very, 'evil-doer' type voice, but the old one, she just had that touch, a very american, very business woman type high-end voice which was perfect.. kinda. I do like the new one, but aspects of the old natla were great. i loved it at the end of the game where she says "to late for abortions now!" and the voice went so well with it! and i will be disappointed to hear something nothing like it... but hey, the actors/actress' all would of had plenty of chances to go through and know their character....

The new Natla looks.. way different. It dissappoints me a bit, I mean, she doesn't look like a villain or anything. The old Natla had that look, but you didn't knew before Lara knew she was tricked.

This Natla looks way more business and... not-so-serieus person

The new Natla obviously the Legend Lara treatment. Those massive jugs in the original are now petite little bumps that are pushed too close together in tight shirts.

She looks so much prettier, evileir and smarter. Plus she looks more human, instead of a rugby ball.

Sometimes I feel like the only one who actually aprechates the amazing changes CD have made, instead of completey slating it over trivial things.
