Keir,
Hi. First off, great game. Other than being disappointed with the lack of single-player content I think this is an awesome game. I would like to have seen more levels with realistic multi-unit battles at the expense of all of the unrealistic "here's one unit now go against waves of other units" type battles. Of course, the source of my frustration here is how well you guys implemented the game in the few multiunit battles there are in the SP game. One thing that would go a long way to cure this disappointment would be a Japanese Campaign. I've heard unsubstantiated rumors about one and I clearly read in an old preview that there would be one. Is there one in the game or plans to make one as downloadable content? Needless to say, I don't think there should be a charge for it. Thanks for your time and keep up the great work making games like this excellent one. I bought the 360 version the first day it came out. |

Yeah, a Japanese campaign would be pretty cool. Not holding my breath, though. There are already a few levels where you play as the Japanese in the challenge missions.

I'm almost sure there's no Japanese Campaign.

Yeah, they had said (3 years ago) that you would be able to play either side but I think that idea was scrapped. Maybe they will unlock that ability or add it in with a patch. I was also sadly disappointed with the single player content. 11 EPIC campaigns? More like 11 missions.

Hey,
Thanks for the post. As far as I know there isn't a Japanese campaign planned, but I'll pass this on, as it's not the only post on the subject that I've seen. Although the powers that be are finalising the downloadable content which will hopefully compliment the game further. I'm hoping to be able to give you details about this soon. |

Thank you for the reply Keir. I understand there are limits to what you can implement at the downloadable content stage, but any more single-player content with multiunit battles would be very welcome. A Japanese campaign, being able to single player the MP maps against the AI, more multiunit SP missions, or a single player skirmish mode where you can determine the units and go against the AI would all be great to enhance single player. The limited SP content is the only dissapointment I have with this game and I've heard similarly from a lot of people on another gaming forum I visit.
