Agreed, though I wouldn't want them to focus too much on releasing a demo, and more on perfecting the game. My only concern for this game is that it might be too arcade. And in clarifying that a demo would most cetainley help

As much as i would love a Demo i just can't help, but agree with CannedCanary. Besides maken a demo normaly slows down release time of the real game and i wanted this game last year. Don't want to wait no more!

i would like a demo, if they put out a demo it will help them find bugs while they can still fix the problem (whatever it may be), and i just want to play it

Thats great news! Is there anyway on telling us if its a SP or MP demo? Maybe even a when like before or after the release of the game?

A demo would be good but a complete unbugged game would be better than having a demo done

Looking at the way Company of Heroes was released I wouldn't recommend rushing the release either!

It had a great single player component, but the multiplayer instantly turned so many people off because it shipped in such a buggy state.

3 Patches later and it has some of the interface appeal that Rome Total war had TWO YEARS AGO!!!! Wow, we can see other players loading prior to battle, such innovation, Relic!
And don't even get me started on the "dropping" (netcode) and stats issues.


I feel the multiplayer component of Battlestations is even more integral to the fun factor of this game, so to screw that up would be development suicide.

A demo would be fun and pretty much inform me as to whether I want to buy the game or not, but please, test the multiplayer as much as possible!

ya, they need to test the online, when battlefield 2 (for the 360) came out the voice chat didn't work and that killed the online play because no one knew what anyone else was doing

I haven't got a concrete time for the demo.

It's in the near future. That's about all I can say at the moment, I'll try and get the green light to make an official announcement in the next couple of days.
