Rolleyes Instalation Error: Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was

Hello, i am trying to install this game. when i start autorun.exe it gives a serious error, saying: Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed. And it reads bloody slow too, it takes ages to load icons and to give the error. well, relatively, 10 seconds for such a task on a FX 60 machine is ages. and i do meet the system requirements, kinda .

i use windoze XP provezzional x64 SP1 2003
the hardware is fast enough, maybe too fast and new?

anyway, much help appreciated or was it help much appreciated?

Hi,
My first time but this is how to fix your drive problems. Go to your device manager and scroll to ide ata/atapi contollers. Go to the one your drive is on, primary, secondary etc. It is usually Secondary. Right click it and click properties. Go to advanced settings and change every transfer mode option to PIO Only. This should fix it.
