Default Crash, bug or incompatibility

Hey everybody, I'm newbe here ...this is first greeting to everyone.

I have found some problems with TRL (PC), and would like to share it out to everyone.

First the CD/DVD recognition problem, sometime when you try to load the game a msg box will pop up said the disc may not be the original one, and asked u to put the correct one. I have tried many way to solve it but the only workable one is to eject the disc and put it back let the autorun pop up and choose play instead.

Secondly with ppls who have lower hardware config on your PC like me, it is highly suggest that switch the Vsync off and the next gen off as well to prevent crashes and glitches.

I've already completed level 4 and just killed the Rutland and "one the way to next level" it crashed and i've been trying to figure out what's the problem is/are and i've come up the above summary.

Asuming you have a legal copy (?) and if you're in the EU (Europe) try installing the official Tomb Raider Legend patch released by Eidos. You can collect a copy of that here.

I've checked our walkie and forum and so far no-one has come across this problem. We normally like to make a note of all the bug encounters, so if you could update this thread which the results on the patch, that would be grand!

Failing that, you might also have more luck in this section of Eidos Forums.
