Default The lost of Legend

Well it's been discussed before but for those who missed there are at least 3 scenes missing from the game. They were in previous trailers and shots but for some reason they did not make it.

If it is disk space OK but if it was stuff that was not good for the flow of the game or storywise not good enough they could have make them deleted scenes. As on normal movie DVD's you have deleted scenes why not for video games? It would be great if we could play these lost scenes as an unlock option instead of a bikini outfit. I really would have loved to see these areas. This could be a nice addition if there would be lost scenes in the next Tomb Raider.

If you know if there is more missing please post them! I'm rather curious about the 3 round mechanism things puzzle on top of the stairs in the third shot.

The third is Nepal where there seem to be a helicopter part but I dont have pictures of that. The game is cut because of the various platforms I believe, sad

Or maybe they could reuse those areas (adjusting whatever they should) and release an expansion pack! (yes I'm TOO fond on the Gold expansions, they were smashing! )

CrystalD - call Phillip Campbell immediately!

Could you give an exact link for those images? The addies had dots in the links, so it took me to the home page. I'd like to see what you were referring to.

Gasp gasp gasp!!! You're RIGHT!!! I remember those -- but I had forgotten with the excitement over newer shots, and then the demo, and then the game!

I wanted to see that monster statue in the game -- I was sure it would come to life, maybe even be a boss!

Is this area in the game?

I hate to say this, but Tomb Raider Legend itself was only as long as an expansion pack. How long would an official expansion pack last?

Cool

I think these are old "test" levels that were made during production, which they used to obviously test out Lara interacting with the enviroment. Its early development stuff, becuase the "high" detailed Lara are in the shots, this was before they decided to tone down her realism and make her more stylized.

Talking about Phil Campbell, I've just finished replaying The Lost Artefact. What a fabulous game. It's a Madhouse just moved into my all time Top Ten TR levels:

Phil might be available. He was working for Electronic Arts up until about a month ago. EA fired about 150 people in their development department as a cost cutting measure.
In an email I received from him, he mentioned that he is starting his own game consulting firm.

If you want to play the latest game he has worked on, pick up The Godfather.

Yeah I noticed Phil had started his own company over there in SF. I wish him the best of luck with it. He's a fabulous level designer. I still strongly believe there is a world market for a good quality control-centred platformer, like the original TR's, based on a grid system. Hey, fancy connecting on LinkedIn maniac?
