hi guys,

just finsihed playing thief 3... i had bought the cd as soon as it was released but i had to wait for so lonbg to upgrade my system.. u know it was a good thing i did not read any spoilers or anything for T3 or else it would have forced me to become a thief in real life and steal a brand new pc hehhe ... but hey the wait for the coming out of T# was worth it.. i know i knwo we all have played it and its just beyond description..
okay i have one question? The hag got artemis after she was exposed or was artemis the hag all the time from the begining? cause they say many books and things from the library were stolen? also if the hag took artemis form later on .. shouldn't garett also help artemis sould to be free as he helped that gal ..?

(Thief 3 spoilers - those who haven't finished it should not read!)

The Hag was Gamall until the part of the game where you follow Lauryl's ghost into Fort Ironwood and to her tomb...then the Hag's disguise was removed so she became a big monster.

The Hag therefore killed Artemus later on. If you think back to the conversation with Artemus in Gamall's Lair, if he was actually the Hag then she'd know Garrett was there and one would think she'd try to deal with him there and then.

Lauryl's ghost was around partly because of the Cradle. It's never said what would happen to the ghost of someone who wasn't a resident. If the ghost of Artemus was trapped in some way it would probably have been freed at the end of the game when The Hag was killed.

thank god artemis was not the hag from the begining, i kind of liked the guy... but don't u think in gamal's lair ,she had already taken over artemis.. she only didnot kill garrett cause she needed him to steal the artifacts for her !.. so she was may be playing him .. as constantine did in a different way but still he used garrett..
And as all villians make the mistake of getting overconfident she thought that she can kill garrett once she had the artifacts... i know its kind of silly cause she can easily take the artifacts herself ... that is why i was confused when artemis actually was taken over by the hag ...
