This article makes it sound like the Himalaya level is at the end of the game.

Wonder what those "neat-o items" are.

It wouldn't surprise me if the people at Gamespot simply forgot about Zip being in Chronicles. I mean, his appearance was fairly brief and didn't really make such a lasting impression. I hope if he does return that they make better use of him.
