Default Ponterbee Station by Christine

It's really a System Shock 2 mission, but since it uses the same engine as Thief and has numerous Thieves as voice actors (me too ) I thought I would mention it here. It's at www.thiefmissions.com

If you have SS2, go get it it's like a new chapter in the System Shock story!

I enjoyed the voice work, since I'm probably going to be getting out of FM building soon it gave me a way I could still contribute to a great project.

What?

What do you mean with: ...getting out of FM building soon... ? My dictionary tells me it means something I can't believe...

I'm just tired right now, I've got a big level set up but it will need months to finish properly and I really dont have much of a story to guide me in building it. I dont know if I'll finish it or not, but I'm going to take a break right now.

This happens to me, too. I'm allways playing a different game than, like Diablo or Sacred. Strange is, that I'm allways getting the best ideas, when I'm playing Diablo....

Come to think of it Christine, do you know how to fix the direct3d error that you get sometimes when you are using Shocked? I have the safe_texture command in my cam file but it only seems to help with regular gameplay. Also, is it true you have to reload a save everytime you come back to game mode?

Edit: I found the answer to my first question, when I installed shocked it overwrote the fixed cam file. I think that will be ok now.

hm... I don't know what you mean with the direct3d error - I only get an error, when I start shocked and go in gamemode the first time (just ignore this error)

Yes, you have to save your mission before you enter the gamemode and reload the safe before you continue with building. That was hard for me to learn at the beginning.
As soon as you enter the gamemode, your level will be changed. If you leave the gamemode and look at your level in shocked, there is a playerbox and a compass hud where you left the gamemode. Everything what you have done in gamemode is changed in your level in shocked. If you picked up something, it's linked with the players inventory, if you killed an AI, you have the corpse...

if i can ever can win a bid on ebay or get it at Amazon.com, I'd give System Shock 2 a try. I've been wanting to play it. And with Christine making missions for it, I REALLY want to play it
