HELP! After installing the big fan-texture package suddendly text is gone

hi

first time running the game with that texture pack i had no problems.
then next time i ran the game all my savegames where invisible, all books in the game are empty/ no text. many text is missing

haha seems like i just accidently set a way too high resolution and thats why
geez i reinstalled the game and need now to install those new textures again that took about 2 hours first time , geeez
uninstallinmg them was 2 hours again too
