    Yeahhhh! Go for it.

My old band split in 1982 - we are all still in touch apart from our drummer. None of us have seen him in years.

Since then, I have only played in studio bands and have 16 albums to my credit - the best selling one sold a massive 17 copies.

I have, though, on several occasions had a hankering to play live again.

All the best with the gigs. (But dont forget your zimmer frame. )

That's just the 30 minute song list for the Don Hill's gig.
For the upstate shows later this year, we've got two 45 minute sets.
I'll post the entire shebang later.

I realize this is a HIJACK, but I just finished updating a site I use, so I'll ride on your coattails.

You can send me nasty, threatening notes.

    Cool stuff, there, theBlackman!
Great rendition of Little Red Rooster and I absolutely loved
your sea shanties. There used to be a guy that sang 'em on the subway
platforms in Manhattan. Haven't seen him in years, though.

    The rest of the list:
    Uncomplicated - Rick Derringer
On the Hunt - Lynyrd Skynyrd
You Really Got Me - Van Halen version
    Surrender - Cheap Trick
When The Whip Comes Down - Stones
Sympathy for the Devil - Stones
Day of the Eagle - Robin Trower
Too Rolling Stoned - Robin Trower
The Wrong Tiime - Spooky Tooth
    Burnin' Sky - Bad Company
    Too Bad - Bad Company
I Wanna be Sedated - Ramones
    Blitzkrieg Bop - Ramones
Beat on the Brat - Ramones
Caught with the Meat in Your Mouth - Dead Boys
    Flamethrower Love - Dead Boys
    Girls Got Rhythm - AC/DC

Make sure we get to listen to a few. I'm sure you have a site for posting cuts if you get them.

If not use the EZFOLK.COM and register. Unlimited uploads etc.

    Great list of tunes.

I don't think we'd qualify as folk or accoustic!
But I'll surely give a heads up if we get anything happening online.

You could try www.myspace.com all types of music, as is www.audiostreet.net both of which are free, but don't allow quite as many uploads.

It was a little late when I dropped that note and I was just thinking MUSIC not Genre. OOOPS.

    Thanks. We'll see what happens.

The latest word is that there's the distinct possibility that we may have
a bona fide rock star in attendance at the Don Hill's show who we may actually be able to get to come up and sing a tune.
I'm not at liberty to say who it is, but I can say that we'd be doing one of
the tunes on our list with the original voice...
If it happens, I'll be sure to brag about it.

That's Andy (Tommy's brother) Hilfiger on bass,
and our drummer Ronnie M who passed away ten years ago.

What's the right thing to say...

    Kick some musical tailfeathers?

    Wreck those instruments?

...Oh, insert appropriate supportive comment here - and have a great night!

    Those work!
The biggest challenge is staying awake until the gig.
Plus we've got a full set rehearsal in one hour.
