Question Need help in "Happy New Year Mr.Lambert"

There are a few things I can't seem to open up. First, I can't enter some of the bedrooms upstaris but I think they will open up after I find more things. Second, in the bed room with the blue dress lady sleeping there is a pianting on the wall.(The one with the lady holding the pink umbrealla) How do I open it? And last, in the basement right next to were the guy on the table died theres a cage door. It's the one you can here the evil talking. Can I open this at all?

I just played this mission two nights ago - it was LOTS of fun.

True. You've got to do more stuff. If you need help with it, come back here. But save it until after you finish what's left. It's right around the corner, anyway.

The lady with the blue dress is Lady Mazarin. Her husband is Lord Mazarin. He has one of the codes you need.

(I think that part was very clever myself).

No, that's just there for effect. When I went down there for the first time, I didn't know what to make of it...
This dude just dropped dead! In front of me!
Now that I think about it I guess it's not that funny...

Well, I did what I had to do. I found a corpse stuffed up in the chimney and saw Sir Lambert get killed by his former servent. Talk about revenge from beyond the grave! Now I just need to open up this safe. I have all the codes and read the lords diary but still can't open it. Wich codes am I to put in and how?

Did you read Sir Lambert's diary? It tells you how to combine the codes to get the one you need to enter.

OK I've got Mazarin's and Marcus' codes, but can't find out what to do next. I can't get into Lady Lambert's bedroom or the double doored room by the back stairs. I haven't seen Sir Lambert get killed yet. What now?

You still need to find Henderson's code. Check his bedroom carefully and look for a tiny switch on the baseboard. It's been a long time since I played this one but I think you have to have all the code scrolls before you can get the next key you need to proceed. Lady Lambert comes out to stroll the upstairs hallway and she's wearing the balcony key.
