Anybody else going to Gencon?

There's a big, ol' gaming convention in Indianapolis this weekend. I don't really play games outside of those which require a big, glowing box, but I enjoy Gencon, anyway. There's stuff for gamers, sci-fi/fantasy fans, and anyone else considered geeky by "normal" people. Anyone else going?

I know people in Various Military careers who are HardCore gamers so the whole 'geek' steriotype is just BS IMO

Nope, Im not goin there, but i did go to conneticon about a month ago and met tim buckly (Ctrlaltdel-online.com Comic artist) which was pretty cool.

You'd be right. Most of the people at Gencon aren't geeky at all. Oh, there's the ones in costumes *hmm hm hm hmm* but most look completely normal. I don't see too many people there who look like the comic book store guy from the Simpsons.
